An overview of soil and plant pollution in Slovenia was prepared and presented at the conference »Kemijske industrijske nesreče, kemijski ekološki kriminal in teroristični napadi s kemikalijami«. Soil contamination was assessed from data (300 sampling points) obtained by sistematic research using sampling grid 8 × 8 km Data about uptake of potentially toxic metals from soil by vegetables and crops were taken from various studies carried out on contaminated areas.
