Professional forest operation (salvage cuttings on storm damaged forests) has a positive impact on the stand rejuvenation - both in terms of the composition of mosses, herbaceous and shrub species, as well as the stand structure (tree species composition, stand density, vitality and height of tree species). It is therefore necessary to establish the system (quality assurance), which will provide a high proportion of high-quality salvage cuttings on storm damaged forests.
