Technological instructions for the implementation of Operation Fruit Growing under the measure Agri-environment-climate payments for the period 2014-2020.

The measure agri-environment-climate payments (hereinafter: the KOPOP measure) from the Rural Development Program of the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2014-2020 is intended to maintain and promote above-standard agricultural practices that represent higher requirements than normal agricultural practices, but also ensure the implementation of socially important services and non-public goods. The purpose of the measure is to strike a balance between the need for food production and environmental protection and to encourage agricultural holdings (hereinafter: KMG) to manage agricultural land in a way that contributes to the protection of water resources, conservation of biodiversity and landscape, and the adaptation of farmers. climate change mitigation and adaptation. The activities that will be implemented and will contribute to maintaining or improving the situation are defined in the KOPOP measure as mandatory and optional requirements in the framework of operations.
