This conference contribution discusses data availability and methods used to estimate global releases of Hg to aquatic systems with the focus on sectors of relevance for the Minamata Convention. Work was carried out within the Global Mercury Assessment 2018, as coordinated by UN Enviornment.

Slovenian National Implementation Plan for the Minamata Convention on Mercury

The study gives a detailed overview of the individual Articles of the Minamata Convention in the following form: the main emphasis and requirements of the Convention, a review of the regulation of each article and a review of the situation in the relevant field in the RS.
