1.
An increase in low-grade spot urine protein excretion during the first year after kidney transplantation associates with subclinical de-novo donor-specific antibodies and microvascular inflammation at 1-year surveillance biopsies

This prospective observational study demonstrated that an increase in spot-urine protein excretion during the first year after kidney transplantation associated with silent de-novo donor-specific antibodies and antibody-mediated rejection phenotype at 1 year.

Diagnostic value of spot urine protein excretion to uncover silent de-novo donor-specific antibodies and antibody-mediated rejection 1 year after kidney transplantation

This prospective observational study demonstrated that an increase in spot urine protein excretion during the first year after kidney transplantation predict silent de-novo donor-specific antibodies and antibody-mediated rejection phenotype at 1 year.

Efficacy and safety of paricalcitol for reduction of proteinuria in kidney transplant recipients

Doctoral disertation investigated efficacy and safety of paricalcitol for reduction of proteinuria in kidney transplant recipients. Proteinuria is a clinical biomarker of kidney allograft injury, specifically kidney allograft rejection. Therefore, reduction of proteinuria may prolong long-term kidney allograft survival.
