Pharmacometric models that are used in the analysis of clinical trial data can often take days or even weeks to run. This can be a severe limitation on how much research and analyses can be done. We developed an efficient implementation of a standard statistical model that is used for analysis of Alzheimer's clinical trial data. We achieve speedups of 50-100x on consumer grade hardware. This work has substantial practical implications and has already attracted attention from the pharmaceutical industry, ki bo investirala v nadaljnji razvoj.
