In frame of visiting guest lecture program at Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, within Sts. Cyril and Methodius in SKopje, Makedonija, I have lecture for students from the Textile and Materials Engieneering Department on the subject: Biopolimer nanomaterials and textiles: development and application in tissue engineering (April 23rd, 2018)

COBISS.SI-ID: 21469462This special issue welcomes original research and review articles, with a focus on polysaccharide-based macroscopic materials and their bottom-up processing routes. The latter comprise molecular-, nanoparticle-, and fiber-based assemblies into macrospatial, porous structure with a higher order of complexity and organization. Our aim is to attract the interest of researchers working on polysaccharides processing into nano- to macroorganized structures, their complementary assessment, and their further translation into more complex three-dimensional systems. Particular focus should be given to functionality, situating their potential in a particular area. Articles examining diverse types of polysaccharides are welcomed: the plant- (cellulose) and animal-derived (chitin, chitosan) polysaccharides, bacterial exopolysaccharides (dextran, alginate, xanthan, and cellulose), and their derivatives. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following: Polysaccharide hydrogels networks Polysaccharide bioinks in 3D printing Polysaccharide nanoparticles assembling into 3D structures Polysaccharide membranes in medicine Porous polysaccharide scaffolds for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering Electrospun polysaccharide and fibers-based meshes https://www.hindawi.com/journals/apt/si/758680/cfp/
