Abstract
With the help of 1D and 2D NMR, EPR and NQR the folowing results have been obtained in 1998: 1. As75 NQR lineshape data demonstrate the existence of a transition from a single-q state to a triple-q modulated incommensurate state with 3 independent non-coplanar modulation waves in the high temperature part of the incommensurate phase of proustite. The results show the presence of a triple-q modulated multisoliton lattice in the low temperature part of the incommensurate phase. The results are published in Phys. Rev. Lett. vol 80, p. 225 (1998). 2. Ferromagnetic resonance has been detected with the help of frequency variable EPR spectroscopy in TDAE C60. The results show that TDAE C60 can be described as a uniaxial Heisenberg ferromagnet with a very small anisotropy field. The results are published in Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, p. 1529 (1998). 3. Magnetic field induced solitons have been studied in the ferroelectric liquid crystal CE8 with deuteron NMR. The symmetry of a multisoliton lattice and the anisotropy of the critical field for the unwinding of the Sm C* helix have been determined. The results are published in Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, p. 4458 (1998).
