Abstract
Gas phase studies are proposed of the molecular and ionic precursors obtained from solution as well as from solid phase, using various ionisation techniques and Mass Spectrometric scan modes. Identification of biological polymers and their self-assembling complexes will be examined. In addition, special attention will be paid to apportioning the ions originating from various neutral or ionic precursors, thus enabling thermochemical calculations .
