Abstract
The objective is to investigate new view-based representation methods to facilitate recognition and visualization. We will concentrate on combining various sensing modalities (e.g., intensity, range) under the view-based representation framework, on determining the optimal reference views with respect to the given parameterization and accuracy, and on achieving robust and efficient recognition in realistic complex scenes.
