Abstract
The aim of the project is a study of physics of superstructures in solids with aperiodic structure like incommensurate systems, superionic conductors, protonic and orientational glasses, quasicrystals, disordered ferroelectrics, spin-ladder cuprates, colossal magnetoresistance systems, nanomagnets and porous media. These systems exhibit qualitatively new physical phenomena that are not present in ordered crystals. Such phenomena are the anomalous ''''phason-assisted'''' diffusion in quasicrystals, nonlinear charge transport in incommensurate charge density wave systems and ionic conductors, single-molecule ferromagnetism in nanoferromagnets, metastable states in glassy structures, etc. The above phenomena are studied by means of magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
