Abstract
The main objective of the research project is to make a step forward in optimisation techniques for the solution of problems related to metal forming technology. Simulation of forming processes requires a good understanding of the phenomena including friction, texture evolution, microstructural changes etc. Symbolic methods will be used for analytical sensitivity analysis of related non-linear, path dependent problems.
