Abstract
The project aims to analyse and test the applicability of the performance measurement as a specific model of evaluation of social service programs to Slovenian institutional environment. First the requirements of the performance measurement approach are analysed and the model of its implementation will be suggested for testing in a chosen program of rental housing provision. It is hypothesised that this model of evaluation of programs is presently very appropriate because of its simplicity, responsiveness to clients and the availability of the measures.
