Abstract
The proposed research project will focus on multi-modality non-rigid registration, specificaly on improvement of precision, consistency and correctness, which are essential for practical medical and industrial applications. We will focus on spatial deformation models, such that they will enable precise registration of complex structures with spatially variable deformable properties. This will contribute to registration correctness and enable better integration of image registration approaches into practical applications.
