Abstract
Upgrade of an information system (IS) FloVegSi (1997) for maintenance and use of relational databases of natural national heritage, with options for data management and data mining and connection to other software (Turboveg, Syntax, GIS) for management of floristic, vegetation and faunistic data. Upgraded IS will be basic software tool for collection of data on genetic resources in Slovenia, evaluation of abundance and endangerment of natural populations and defining the measures for their conservation.
