Abstract
A system of spot welding is complex electromagnetic device composed of numerous elements. Some elements dominantly influence reliability of operation under prescribed specifications which consequently mean that there exists possibility to considerably increase the system performances. The existing transformer is oversized. The design of advanced adaptive control of power supply inverter will enable compensation of flux density DC component in transformer iron core which will reduce the dimensions of transformer considerably.
