Abstract
The main purpose of the project is to enhance the design of the technical components of the HVAC system and to optimize its performance with respect to energy use and thermal comfort. For this purpose a complex dynamic model, consisting of the building model, model of the HVAC system and description of its operating conditions, will be developed. The optimal technical equipment for the HVAC system will be determined through simulation of the dynamic model (optimization of the investment cost of HVAC system). Furthermore, a set of optimal dynamic control strategies will by calculated by model simulations. The set of optimal dynamic strategies will depend on the object type, ambient conditions and desired thermal comfort.
