Abstract
In the first part of the project technologies for production and distribution of heat, cold and/or electrical energy from biomass will be researched and classified. On the micro level systems for application in housing technique i.e. till 100 kW (Stirling engine) will be researched but systems which are part of district energy systems (ORC, steam process) will be analyzed on macro level.
A First phase of the second part of the project will be a study of biomass potential in Slovenia. Examination or selection of systems in foreign countries will be prepared and operation of existent biomass systems on the basis of optimal procedure of selection will be examined.
Organization of workshop on the theme of technologies for biomass application is foreseen in the third part of the project. Also case studies will be carried out.
