Abstract
The study of the psychosomatic status of children and youth has started at the faculty of Sports in the begining of the 60's (Šturm) and has up to this time remained one of the basic research currents in the field of sport - articulary in the field of children and youth sport.Durin this time the research group has developed adequate measuring procedures and research metodology which ensure suitable conduct of the project. It represents a continuous research work in the field of psychosomatic status of children and youth and allows comparisons with the other countries. The expected research project is linked up with Eurofit test system of the European Community.
