Abstract
The required accuracy of shape, position and surface roughness of complex workpieces from sheetmetal intendet for car and aircraft industrie is increasing. The current measurement on coordinate measuring devises equiped with mechanical and optical probes do not consider the workshop enuironment condition. This is the reason why measurements of this kind are often performed on machine tools. Laserinferometer for direct dimension, shape and position measurement for complex workpieces and tools, as well as digitizing are used evermore frequently. Measurement wit laserinterferometer which are a component part of the machining system require adequate software and a specific measurement methodology and procedure, which can be adapted to specific shapes of workpieces and tools.
