Abstract
The realisation of taking the inventory of insects (beetles, butterflies) in the Alpine region of Slovenia. The investigations were focused on those parts of the Alps where there is only a few data available or no data at all. This refers, in particular, to the eastern part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and to the eastern part of the Karavanke Alps. At the same time the data is gathered from the literature and various collections.
