Abstract
The research work in the proposed project will be focused on the synthesis and characterisation of new redox catalysts, based on modified large-pore zeolite and zeolite-like molecular sieves. Zeolites with aluminosilicate framework and zeolite-like molecular sieves with aluminophospahate and gallophosphate frameworks modified by transition metals in small amounts will be prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and characterised with different characterisation methods. Special emphasis will be given to the spectroscopic investigation of cataliticaly active sites present in the frameworks of the products as a result of transition metal incorporation. Considering the nature, strength and distribution of these sites in prepared products, catalytic tests will be performed.
