Abstract
Efforts for stimulating farm competitivenes, to sattled the rural regions and to preserved the cultural landscape in Slovenia are registrated as one of the most important goals in the Slowenian agriculture development strategy.
In the research we are treating the possibilities to reach the mentioned goals.
The research project is divided in two basic complex. The first complex is designed for landscape (natural caracteristics) analysis and for establishing the owergroving areas in the spare of treated region. In the first complex we also examine the system analysis of market competitivenes of the farms in the high regions of south - ist Slowenia. The system analysis is based on opinion pulls of each agriculture farm in the treated region.
The second complex is design for proposal measures to increase the high land farm competitivenes in the treated region. As basic possibility to increase the high land farm competitivenes we suggested the sustainable ruminant breeding.
In the framework of research project we also argumented the scientific results on a concrete example (high regions of south -ist Slowenia).
