Abstract
The aim of the project is study of the factors controlling the development of the karst caves. The work will base on the survey of the chosen caves, geomorphologic and geologic mapping, chemical analyses of the water and analyses of the sediments. Important genetic factors will be determined with the use of morphogenetic analyses. The influence of climatic change will be studied in the cave sediments.Conceptual models of speleogenesis and morphogenesis will be analysed and verified by numerical models based on basic physical and chemical processes in karstifying rocks.
