Abstract
The goal of the project is to develop the model of active magnetic bearings. The numerical design and dynamical modelling of the radial and axial magnetic bearings will be done using the specifications of the company that will produce such a kind of bearings. The electrical part of the bearing with the converter, as well as the rotor of the machine itself with the sensor, will be included in the mathematical model of the system. The non-linear model of the system will serve to choose the best linear or non-linear control of the system. The numerical and practical verification of different operating modes will be performed on the laboratory model of the active magnetic bearing system with five degrees of freedom that will be developed within this project.
