Abstract
Materials: Ferroelectrics and related materials, relaxors, lead free ferroelectrics, oxide electrode materials, materials for solid oxide fuel cells materials for thick film technology, new materials, structures. Processing and structures: Solution processing of nanopowders, morphology control, chemical homogeneity control. Solution processing of thin films, precursor structure, densification and crystallisation, precursor structure – processing – properties relationship. Thick film processing by screen-printing and sintering, densification mechanism, interface phenomena, barrier layers, process-properties relationship. Tape casting of electroceramics, suspension processing, solid-liquid interfaces, electrostatic, and electrosteric stabilisation. Bulk heterostructures (capacitor-varistor), constrained sintering, interface reactions, properties. Thick film technology, pressure sensors, reliability versus processing, noise control, ecology friendly materials, modelling of electric and thermal characteristics of complex hybrid circuits.
