Abstract
The proposed project comprises the research and developement of integrated electronic watt-hour meter, design methodology and efficient test algorithms as well as development of BIST circuits and algorithms used in precision electrical energy metering systems. The proposed research would enable the developement of new and efficient test procedures, new high order robust Sigma-Delta A/D converter with smaller sensitivity to internal and external noise sources. In addition the research would enable the developement of design methodologies for mixed-signal BIST structures which would make testing and reliability of proposed new electronic energy metering system much more efficient.
