Abstract
The main goal of the research is finding an innovative (technically, procedurally and socially) tool helping to provide ecologically-oriented improvement strategies by transforming vacant spaces in urban areas. They will be dynamic contributors to Sustainable Innovation Zones as part of Global Urban Development's international initiative. The new tool will be based on multi-aspect modeling and datadriven software with the use of AI/ML algorithms. This software should allow a broad group of stakeholders to interact in an intuitive way with digital functionalities of the platform. Methodologies applied in this project include both qualitative and quantitative research strategies. With a starting point of a widely defined metastudies and frameworks of green certification in urban scale, we wish to ensure research background acknowledgement. A particular emphasis will be put on the cities of the consortium to define criteria that may be based on in-situ analyses and direct interviews. The international cooperation will allow testing the tool in different environments. The planned result of the work is a tool serving EDITing Urban Assets with an intuitive virtual instrument named EcoUrbanComposer which is an interactive platform supporting an implementation of desirable changes through an urban acupuncture and green philosophy paradigm.
