Abstract
Quantum computing has the potential to revolutionize various fields, including cryptography, machine learning, materials science, and drug discovery. However, challenges such as the lack of standardized tools, specialized training, access to infrastructure, and limited industry collaboration hinder its progress.
The QEC4QEA project aims to overcome these obstacles by building a unified platform that accelerates the development and integration of quantum-enhanced applications across various scientific and industrial domains. The project will provide resources such as a hardware-independent application library, benchmarking tools, compilers, APIs, and curated access to high-performance computing and quantum computing infrastructures.
A training program and helpdesk will support scientists and developers in building and integrating quantum-enhanced solutions. This outreach strategy will foster collaboration between academia and industry, facilitating the transfer of scientific advancements into commercial applications.
