Abstract
The REMHub project creates a cutting-edge digital innovation hub to propel EU excellence in Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and magnet technologies. Bringing together 24 partners from five countries, REMHub will develop, test, and pilot novel technologies for REE exploration, primary production, and recovery from industrial side streams, strengthening the EU’s REE supply security. Additionally, the project focuses on Re-X technologies — recycling, reuse, refurbishment, and repurposing of valuable metals from end-of-life products — alongside designs for electric machines that facilitate permanent magnet recycling.
