By fostering collaboration, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting innovative approaches, Woolshed contributes to the program's objective of enhancing research capacities and advancing sustainable development in the Alpine region. Envisaged outcomes: Increase the number of new and innovative wool products on the market: The project will support the development of new wool products that are more sustainable and marketable. Make wool processing more efficient and sustainable: The project will invest in new technologies that will make it more efficient and sustainable to process wool. Increase the use of wool in new sectors: The project will promote the use of wool in new sectors, such as construction, automotive, and packaging. The project pioneers coarse wool transformation, preserving heritage, fostering accessible innovations, and empowering local mountain communities.
