Abstract
The project focuses on the ethnic and local cultural heritage of the Danube region and promotes economic opportunities in rural areas. It will revitalise tourism, promote local development, create jobs and foster innovation. The key activities of the project are the collection, digitisation and protection of the culinary heritage of 30 ethnic groups, the development of a transnational route, strategies for the protection of culinary heritage and the establishment of a joint demonstration and training centre. It will contribute significantly to the implementation of the European Strategy for the Danube Region and strengthen the capacities of the 250 participating organisations.
