Abstract
The University of KULueven (BE) and ENALOS (GR) have developed a geopolymerisation technology consisting of a modular, mobile unit that can be packed in a container and transported to a site for the production of high value-added materials. These new materials can be used in various sectors, such as construction and the automotive industry (catalytic converter parts). In Slovenia, paving stones will be produced in this way at SIJ Akroni, Gorenjska gradbena družba will install them at a demo site, and ZAG will be involved, among other things, in technical support for the pilot production and in the testing of the resulting products.
