Abstract
The aim of the proposed project is to develop the optimization algorithms and strategies for structural synthesis. The optimization is carried out by the Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) approach. The MINLP approach performs a discrete optimization of topology, materials and standard dimensions, while continuous dimensions and other parameters are simultaneously calculated inside the continuous space. The optimization is defined by the economical objective function of self manufacturing costs.
