Abstract
Industrial coated paper production is an example of a complex technological process composed of several individual operations. In this project mathematical models based on artificial neural networks will be developed which will enable prediction of coated paper characteristics. Through multivariate analysis methods, parameters with the biggest effect on the process and therefore on final product quality will be identified.
