Abstract
On human liver corrosion casts poral vein branches and bile ducts will be analized on segmental, sectorial and extrahepatic level, with special attention to the relationship between them. We shall determine the freqency of variations for both systems on mentioned levels and the frequency of dissociation in course of portal vein and bile ducts. Data on this topic in literature are scarce, particularly for the segmental level. The knowledge of both systems along to the segmental level is of practical importance for exact diagnostics and safe liver surgery.
