Abstract
A large number of rehabilitation outcome measures exist in the world. The comparison of the outcomes between different centers and countries is difficult due to the use of various measures and the differences in the terminology of European languages. With the introduction of measures based on European standards, a new methodological set of instruments will be available to rehabilitation medicine contributing greatly to the future development of evidence based madicine.
