Abstract
The surface of amorphous, nano and micro crystalline powders of pure Fe, Fe-Ni and Co alloys will be investigated with the new experimental method based on Auger Electron Spectroscopy. The method will enable “in situ characterization” of thin oxide and phosphate insulation films. We will study the behavior of oxides and phosphates at elevating temperature in high frequency field . We will also study the surfaces of powders of pure iron and FeNi and Co alloys after the processes of water atomization and after rapid solidification, crushing and milling and thermal treatment of amorphous materials. The mechanism of synthesis od soft magnetic powders and binding insulation materials of existing technology and of vacuum pressing will be investigated also. The magnetic properties of base materials and powder materials will be determined as well as breakdown voltage of powder insulation films.
