Abstract
Biological processes are in many respects different from the processes studied by physics and chemistry. It is not only about the high organisation of living systems, whose foundations are still the subject of intensive investigation and various interpretations, but also about complex dynamics. The later may be seen as a gist of life and not only as one of its properties. Dynamics does not have a generally accepted logical treatment since within the basic two value logic as well as within the more advanced ones (including the fuzzy logic) it yields contradiction. The basic hypothesis of the proposed project is that it is possible to construct logic that would correspond to a trustworthy description and explanation of living processes and thus enable their new interpretation. The same logic would open the door to non-contradictory formulation of biological dynamic holism.
