Abstract
Electric transmission steel towers originate from different time periods. The problems connected to the decisions on maintenance, renewal and planning of new object are becoming more and more urgent every day due to different damages. The researches will therefore include a careful inspection of all accessible data on the performed column inspections. The data will be supplemented by new methods. Results of computational and experimental tests will be added. Based on the comparisons with the regulations and standards, proposals for appropriate measures will be formed.
