Abstract
The project is based on the ecological analyses of the sewage plume spreading from the submarine outfalls in Slovenian coastal sea. By comparing data of biological and chemical parameters measured in stressed and unpolluted areas, and by using different multivariate approaches, indicators for the ecological characterization of the coastal sea affected by wastewaters will be determined. This will help beneficiaries to take actions for planning future outfalls or for improving the existing wastewater systems.
