Abstract
In this research project we investigate different types of parallel computer communications and their impact on the efficiency of parallel algorithms. Theoretical work will be tested on parallel computer programs for processing and simulation of electrical and temperature signals from the heart and in the area of parallel molecular dynamics algorithms. The results of our research work will contribute to increasing the efficiency of parallel computer programs and lead to some practical applications in the areas of medicine and chemistry.
