Abstract
Introduction of a new non-invasive method for measurement of blood perfusion and oxygenation of tissues by means of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). Development of methodology for application of NIRS for study of tissue oxygenation in patients with peripheral arterial ischemic syndrome. Evaluation of NIRS by means of other methods (laser Doppler, transcutaneous oximetry). Application of NIRS for the study of mechanisms of action of electric currents on tissue perfusion in lower extremities of patients suffering from damaged peripheral circulation.
