Abstract
We shall analyze the changes in agrarian structure in the period between Census 1991 and sampling data census of agriculture in 1997 and reasons for them. Separately we shall analyze the correlation between economic power of farms in the process of abandoning the farming. On this basis we shall try to establish the method of monitoring and analysis of structural changes in agriculture.
