Abstract
Slovene Istra is certainly a very specific entity in the Slovene national and ethnic domain, particularly in view of its historical and cultural traditions. On the basis of a series of the inner mutual links and comparisons of methodological approaches by historical, archaeological, legal and ethnological sciences as well as historical geography, the project is to present a condensed, integral view on the civilizational-cultural and spiritual identity of the Slovene people and on formation of the Slovene national authenticity in this region.
