Abstract
Based on the current DABA databases, a list of rare and endangered algae species will be prepared and their habitats checked upon. In case of their disapearance, locations will be searched for where these species might still be present. A list of those freshwater ecosystems will be prepared which are important in view of algology and the natural heritage of the Republic of Slovenia.
