Abstract
The project will be continuation research work of hydrogenation of edible oils with catalytic transfer hydrogenation (CTH). Products of hydrogenation contain relatively high amounts of fatty acids. The emphasis of research will be developing new separation technique in connection with some modern spectroscopic identification methods. The aim of this project is to use these new methods for characterization of partly hydrogenated oils produced by CTH and at the sme time to optimize our CTH method according to knowledge about fatty acid isomers.
