Abstract
Exocytosis mediates hormone secretion from cells. Although this is a ubiquitous process of all eukaryonic cells, little is known about the mechanisms controlling it. One reason for this is that electrophysiological methods to detect hormone secretion at cellular level are technically demanding, thus used in only in a small number of specialiezed laboratories. The aim of this project is to develop a method of analysis of cell membrane admittance utilizing a digital signal processor, which will make measurements simpler, will increase the aplicability in experiments and will be more interesting for commercial production (shorter time for production and calibration of instruments).
