Abstract
Fracture mechanics (FM) deals with crack formation and propagation. FM material characteristics are defined experimentally. Still no standard test method for the determination of FM material characteristics of cementitious composites is known, only recommendations can be found (RILEM). Due to fact that this method is not practical, different other experimental methods are used. The goal of the project is the experimental evaluation of different mostly applied experimental procedures for the determination of FM characteristics of cementitious composites.
