Abstract
Project is dedicated to a choice of an adequate mathematical model for simuation of nitrate leaching under Slovenain conditions. Above all, widely used GLEAMS model will be checked and if it will appear to be unadequate, other similar models will be checked. Verification and final choice will be based on the validation of the model with field measurements of nitrate leaching in two different environments: alluvial intergranular porosity and karstic fracture porosity of an aquifier.
